Job summary:

The mission of the Logistics Coordinator is to ensure good execution in EMEA and intercompany markets of all daily operations related to export, import, transport, customs, certificates and local projects and also to support new EMEA markets for all actions that concern supply & logistics

Job description:

-Process and operations management: • Coordinate effective shipping: road/air/sea transport for EMEA & Intercompany • Planning and follow up of the internal logistic freight organization. • Follow up of the import and export documents (COO, Health Certificates, Customs Documents). -Inter-company full support: • Act as SPOC for the inter-company shipments: supply planning (info on availability of products, order confirmation), organization of international shipments (booking, invoicing, pre-alerts, follow up, complaints handling) from firm order date until complete fulfilment. • Manage the coordination of all related departments EMEA & Intercompany to ensure good information exchanges with the regions. • Lead the different meetings and conference calls. • Ensure the maximization of the OTIF (SC excellence). • Manage the shipping schedules (air and sea) for an effective fulfilment (consolidations, container fulfilment) to get right balance between shipping costs and service level. -Customer relationship: External: • -Manage relationship with transport and forwarding companies, external warehouses both on the technical and human level • -Manage investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints Internal: • -Coordinate operations with customer service, demand planning, production, finance, sales, and quality

Your profile:

• Bachelor Degree • 3-5 years’ experience in managing order fulfilment and logistics, preferably in food • User knowledge in ERP, Excel, Powerpoint • Demonstrated logistics skills • Insight into logistics processes • Open for change • Languages: French, English. Dutch is an asset • Personal skills and competences: • Stress resistant, problem solving, assertive • Customer focused • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills • Negotiation skills • Pro-active, eager to learn, motivated and able to take initiatives • Able to adapt to a multicultural environment, team player • Results driven
